Play Surface Covering Tarmac
A worn tarmac playground at Eyam Primary School, Hope Valley in Derbyshire was simply crying out for a new, safe covering. Safe Play was an obvious solution with its clean, practical upper surface and safe rubber matting subsurface.
Initially a polymer mesh was put under the carpet to assist with drainage of the playground. Special covers were also constructed to allow access to drains for maintenance.
The final result completely covered the old tarmac surface to leave a safe, clean play area for the children to enjoy.
